Annisa Winda is a media studies graduate who currently works as an adjunct lecturer in Universitas Padjadjaran and Parahyangan Catholic University. Her research interests lie in the area of film and media studies, gender and sexuality, and discourse analysis. Her thesis, which discusses maternal horror in Indonesian movies from 1970-2022 has been published last year by independent publisher Cantrik Pustaka under the title of: Memaksa Ibu Jadi Hantu (Mothers Who Forced to Haunt).
